In order to get an artist profile on Spotify, you need to have your music on Spotify, which includes having someone else (like a record label) or yourself distribute music and licenses to Spotify. After the process of getting your music on Spotify, this wikiHow will teach you how to claim your artist profile.

Steps

Go to https://artists.spotify.com/c/access/artist in a desktop web browser. You can't use a mobile phone or tablet to access the Spotify for Artists website.

Click in the text field to search for yourself or enter your Spotify link. You can either search for keywords in your artist profile or enter the link to your Spotify artist profile (your distributor or label should have it after they submit your music).^{[1]

Follow the on-screen prompts to claim your artist profile. You'll need to confirm the Spotify account and your information before continuing. Click Next to continue through the on-screen instructions.
- You may be prompted to link your other social media accounts such as Twitter and Instagram.

Click Submit at the end of the walk-through. Your request and all the information you've included will be submitted for review, and you'll usually have instant access to the artist profile page.^{[2]
