Complete field research tasks, level up, and participate in successful raids to earn more revives. This wikiHow guide will show you how to get revives in Pokémon GO.

Things You Should Know

The daily free box, PokéStops, gyms, and opening gifts have a chance of granting you revives.
Completing field research tasks and raids also have a chance of rewarding you with revives.
Leveling up from levels 5 to 40 is a guaranteed way to earn revives and max revives.
You can also purchase max revives from the shop.

Check the daily free box.

Open your daily free box. It has a chance of containing revives. You can open the daily free box in the shop.
- Note that revives will restore a Pokémon to half HP, while max revives restore full HP.
- You can also get more Poké Balls from the daily free box!

Spin PokéStops and gyms.

Tap PokéStop and gym photo discs to get items. Both of these have a chance to drop revives. Note that you need to be close enough to the PokéStops or gym to spin the photo disc.^{[1]

- Photo discs will turn purple after you spin them, indicating that they are on cooldown. They'll turn blue when they're ready to be spun again.

Open gifts from friends.

You can potentially get revives when opening gifts. You will find new gifts in the Friends tab of the profile menu.

Participate in raid battles.

Joining and completing nearby raids will reward you with items. You can earn revives and other supplies by successfully finishing a raid.

Level up your player.
