1Open Messenger. It’s the blue chat bubble icon with a white lightning bolt on your home screen or in the app drawer.

2Sign in to Messenger. If haven’t already, type your phone number, tap Continue, then enter your password.Advertisement

3Tap the Address Book icon. It’s the icon with three horizontal lines, each beginning with a dot, at the bottom-right corner of Messenger.

4Tap Message Requests. It’s next to the blue chat bubble icon with three white dots inside. This displays the messages you’ve received from people who aren’t connected with you on Facebook.
