You can edit the information of a credit card or debit card linked to your profile using the mobile app or the Uber website. Navigate to the Payment section of the options menu and select a payment method to make changes. If you have multiple payment methods linked to an account, you can choose which one to use when booking your ride by setting the location pin, tapping the displayed method, and selecting a new one from the list. Payment methods can be changed at any time before the end of a ride, at which point the currently selected method will be charged.

Editing a Card in the Mobile App

    Download and open Uber from the App Store or Play Store. Tap “Install”, then “Open” once installation completes.

    Sign in to your Uber account. Tap “Sign in” to enter your email and password, then tap “Sign in” again.

Changing Your Payment Method

    Open the Uber app.

    Tap the “Set Pickup Location” button. You will be prompted to select a payment method and destination before any passage is booked.

    Tap the displayed credit card or payment method. A list of the different payment methods associated with your account will appear.

    • The selected payment method will be used by default until you change it again.
