1Click on the Apple icon. It's the Apple logo at the far left corner of the top menu bar on your Mac's screen.

3Click the "Language & Region" icon. It looks like a flag.
- If you can't see the main menu, click the three rows of dots at the top left corner of the window, which displays as Show All in earlier versions of Mac OS X.

4Click Advanced. It's at the bottom right corner of the window.

5Click on the "Currency" drop down menu.

6Click on your desired currency.

7Click OK. Your selected currency will be the default on certain windows and applications such as Pages and Numbers.
