Have you ever wanted a Corey Taylor (from Slipknot) mask, but the only ones you see online are too expensive? With a little time, and some inexpensive materials, you can make your own! (This tutorial tells you how to make his old mask and his 2008 one.)
Steps
-
1Get something the size of your head. (Maybe a mannequin head, or if you don't have one, try using a balloon. Measure the circumference of the widest part of your head, and inflate a balloon to the widest part's circumference of the balloon being that, plus about 5 cm. (2 inches.)
-
2Put a clean, woman's stocking/pantyhoses on the head/balloon.Advertisement
-
3After that put duct tape around it. (Thick masking tape still works, but duct tape is better.)
-
4Cut a slit up halfway on the back of the mask and take it off.
-
5Cut out the eye, mouth, and nose holes out.
-
6Spray paint it green or gray for the old mask, and white, off-white or yellow for the 2008 mask.
-
7Cut holes for dreads. (Only for the old mask.)
-
8Put in rope and tie in knot. (Only for the old mask.)
-
9Attach Velcro straps to back.

Warnings
- Add several layers of tape, to make sure when you cut the holes that the mask won't fall apart.⧼thumbs_response⧽
- Be sure to make your mask a little bit too big rather than too small, that way you can get it on and off easily.⧼thumbs_response⧽
