Community Q&A
-
QuestionWhat kinds of spices can I add to the soup?Community AnswerI would recommend some simple herbs like oregano, thyme, and cumin, but I would avoid too many spices.
-
QuestionHow do I add cheese to my simple onion soup?Community AnswerAdd 1/8 cup of Jarlsberg or gruyere cheese coarse shredded in the center of a hot bowl of soup.
-
QuestionCan I just add salt and pepper for the spices?Community AnswerYou could if you wanted to, it’s completely optional. The onions already have a slightly salty taste, so maybe just a crack of pepper at the end should do it.
