- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
- 2 Tablespoons butter, chopped

1Fit a wire rack over a baking pan. (Something other than the counter to catch the drips). Set it aside for now.

2Fill a saucepan with 1 inch (2.5 cm) of water and bring it to a boil.Advertisement

3Reduce the heat to medium.

4Mix the ingredients together in a metal bowl and place into the saucepan.

5Stir occasionally until just blended.

6Remove the bowl from the heat.

7Dip each cookie by the corner (corner being relative as most cookies are round). This will get as much, or as little, of the cookie dipped as you want.

8Set on the rack that you prepared earlier. Allow them to cool.

9Do this until you run out of cookies or chocolate.
