  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, chopped

    Fit a wire rack over a baking pan. (Something other than the counter to catch the drips). Set it aside for now.

    Fill a saucepan with 1 inch (2.5 cm) of water and bring it to a boil.

    Reduce the heat to medium.

    Mix the ingredients together in a metal bowl and place into the saucepan.

    Stir occasionally until just blended.

    Remove the bowl from the heat.
