When you are not a little girl any more, and not an adult either, life's tough. It's even harder when you feel grown up, but get treated like a child, or, there are people trying to give you more responsibility than you feel ready for. Many teen girls, wherever they are in those teen years, feel better about life when they feel in control of things. Some of these steps will apply to mature teen girls and some will work better for developing teenage girls. Choose the steps you think suit you best to organize yourself for school and feel good about it in the morning.
Steps
-
1Set out your school clothes before you go to sleep. You can get ready quicker if you know what you're going to wear and you won't have to flap about finding an item of school uniform or something you'd set your heart on wearing.
-
2Get up on time. Getting up is always hard in the first place, it's normal for teenage girls to feel tired in the mornings, it doesn't mean you are lazy. People say you should get a decent beauty sleep, but obviously as you become a teenager there is always that show/book you want to watch/read. Set a good and upbeat alarm (if you use one) at a time you think suitable. Don't press snooze! You'll get into the habit and you waste time. You can also ask your mum or someone to wake you up at first if waking up with an alarm is hard.Advertisement

3Do whatever you need to do in the bathroom or loo. Wash your face thoroughly with a gentle soap or a cleanser. It'll help you feel awake. Use a face exfoliator a couple of times a week if you like.
-
4Be clean for school. Whether you have a shower or not, try not to fuss with different lotions and sprays. Just use a nice smelling body wash and (if you want) shampoo your hair. Put some moisturizer on if you like.
-
5Put on some deodorant and get dressed. Try customizing your uniform, if you have to wear one, by adding a cool watch, or if you're allowed jewelry add some bangles or a necklace.
-
6Eat a good breakfast, brush your teeth, floss, and use a preferable mouthwash.
-
7Do your hair. Try something simple and cute, such as a high ponytail and cute clips. Or you can wrap a ribbon around a bun or pigtails.
-
8If you wear makeup, set a limit if you have a makeup ban at school or home. Discreet but good makeup is concealer and foundation (if needed) and possibly brown mascara.
-
9Think about finishing touches, such as: some light lipgloss, perfume and hand cream.
-
10Pack all your lunch, books, water and anything else you need into your bag and you're ready to go!
-
11Get ready to strut your stuff!
