How to Buy Weapons in GTA for PC

Grand Theft Auto is a game of street chaos, with fast paced cars and intense shoot outs. It is a game that leaves any gamer on the edge of their seat. With all this action going on you’re going to need to arm yourself. Fortunately, all you need to do to pack some heat is to head over to the nearest AMMU-NATION!

Buying Weapons in GTA V

Launch Grand Theft Auto V. Find GTA V in the All Programs tab of the Start menu and click on it. If you have the game’s desktop shortcut, double-click on it there. On the game’s main screen, highlight “Start Game” with the mouse and press Enter.

Set up a GPS route using the game’s map. Once the game has started and you are standing in the virtual world, open the menu by pressing the Esc key, and enter the map menu by pressing Enter.
- On the map, look for the nearest AMMU-NATION, the gun icon on the map. Once you find it, set a waypoint by right-clicking on the icon. A pink line should appear showing you your route.
- Exit the map by pressing Esc. Your GPS (located on the bottom left corner of the screen) should now be updated with the route to AMMU-NATION.

Travel to AMMU-NATION. Follow the route on the GPS by either walking to AMMU-NATION or by driving there. Enter the store by walking through the front door, and continue heading towards the man behind the counter.

Buy your weapons. Talk to the man by pressing the E key. When the menu opens, hover over the gun you want to buy, and press ENTER to select it. This will display a magnified image of the gun, its details, and its price. Press Enter a second time to buy the gun.
- Another window will open with a wide range of upgrades to buy for your new weapon. If you do not wish to buy upgrades, press Esc to close the window.
- To select a different gun, just click it using the mouse or scroll up to it using the left and right arrow keys.

Exit the shop. Press Esc repeatedly to exit Ammu-Nation and return to the game world.

Open the map. Once the game has started and you are standing in the virtual world, open the menu by pressing the Esc key and enter the map menu by pressing Enter.

Set a route to AMMU-NATION. On the map, look for the nearest AMMU-NATION, the gun icon on the map. Once you find it, set a waypoint by right-clicking on the icon. A green line should appear showing you your route.
- Exit the map by pressing Esc. Your GPS should be updated now on the bottom left of the screen.

Travel to AMMU-NATION. Follow the route marked by your GPS and either walk or drive to AMM-NATION. Walk through the front door of AMMU-NATION when you get there.

Buy your weapon(s). As you walk around the room, you will notice various guns located around the room. When you have found the gun you want, simply walk up to it and press Enter to buy it.
