Gucci belts can be quite expensive because they are such a desirable designer brand. Because of this, you want to make sure that the belt you are buying is an authentic one, rather than a fake. Most fake Gucci belts have small imperfections – whether it’s fraying materials, a missing serial number stamp, or less-than-perfect stitching. Check the packaging that the belt arrives in, and then look at the hand-crafted details to determine if your Gucci belt is fake or not.

Check the color and logo on the gift bag. All authentic Gucci belts come in a gift bag. The bag should be a dark brown color with the double G logo (one backwards capital G facing another capital G) printed all over the surface of the bag, excluding the bottom of the bag’s interior.^{[1]

For this belt, the beginning of the pattern should start with two Gs; it should not be cut off in the middle or begin at any other point in the pattern.
