    • Find an old 1990s phone. These were chunky and large compared to the flat, smooth smartphones we have now. In the 1990s, phones looked large and had buttons on them to dial someone. Motorola and Nokia made many of these old phones.
    • Check if you have a Sony MiniDisc. These were optical data storage devices. They were first released in 1992.
    • Find a Palm Pilot. These were the predecessors of tablets. This was a mini-computer. It could keep track of dates, notes, to-do lists, and other details. You could write on it with a stylus. [14] These were first released in 1996.
