- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water or milk
- Maple syrup for topping (optional)
- Softened salted butter for topping (optional)

1Pour the flour into a medium sized bowl.

3Pour the water into the bowl. Do this carefully to make sure the sugar and flour don't spill.

4Stir the flour, sugar, and water together. Until it all looks soft and smooth.
