The page gives a very simple way to level-up Pokémon. This can be used to make Pokémon level 100, but still requires quite an amount of time. Use it to give that extra boost to your Pokémon to help them overcome that gym leader!
Steps
Method 1
Method 1 of 3:
Training
-
1Put the Pokémon you want to train on the front of your roster.
-
2Find either trainers to battle or an area where there are wild Pokémon.(Grass, ocean, or fishing.)Advertisement
-
3Begin your battle. Keep on fighting until the opponent's Pokémon or wild Pokémon runs out of HP and faints. For each Pokémon you cause to faint, you will get a certain amount of experience points depending on the species of Pokémon and sometimes whether it's a trained Pokémon or a wild Pokémon.

Method 2
Method 2 of 3:
Weak Pokémon Training
-
1Find a Pokémon that is weak or an extremely low level and place it the front of the roster. Weak Pokémon training will help you raise any low-level or weak Pokémon easily; for example if you have caught an Abra under level 16, (An Abra under level 16 only knows the move teleport, which isn't an offensive move.) or if you're trying to raise a Magikarp. (For Pokémon fans, this should go without saying.)
-
2Go into the battle with the weak Pokémon at the front. Again, find a trainer or Pokémon to into battle. Once the battle screen has opened, stop.
-
3Switch your weak Pokémon out for a strong Pokémon that can win the battle. Once the battle screen has opened, don't attack or use an item on your weak Pokémon. All you have to do is switch it out right away for a Pokémon that can complete the battle. Even though your weak Pokémon didn't fight or make a move, it still earns experience points just for being in the battle.

Method 3
Method 3 of 3:
-
1Find an Exp. Share. To do this you'll need an exp. share. Here's where to find Exp. Share in the games;
- Diamond and Pearl: South of Eterna city there is a cycling circuit, before you reach it though you have to go through a building. Inside, there is a professor who will give you Exp. Share if you have seen more than 35 Pokémon.
- Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald: Talk to Mr. Stone in Rustboro after delivering the letters to Steven and Captain Stern.
- LeafGreen and FireRed: Go East of Fuschia and go into the building that connects the Fuschia to the route. Go upstairs and talk to the Professor's aide, he will give you Exp. Share if you have more than 50 Pokémon.
-
2Give Exp. Share to the Pokémon in the front of your roster. Once you have gotten Exp. Share, give to the Pokémon in the front to hold while battling.
-
3Start the battle. Beat your opponent and the Exp. Share will give not only the Pokémon that battled experience points, but all of the Pokémon you are carrying with you.
