A simple guide to enabling the Live feature on your TikTok account

Do you want to go Live on TikTok but don't have enough followers? In most cases, you will need to be at least 16 years old and have at least 1,000 followers to go Live. However, if you lack the follower count, you can ask TikTok support to turn on the Live feature for your account as long as you're 16 or older. This is not guaranteed to work, but it can improve your chances of going Live. Once you're approved, it's easy to stream Live on TikTok! This wikiHow will show you how to go Live on TikTok regardless of your follower count on an iPhone, iPad, or Android.

Things You Should Know

  • Depending on your region, you must have at least 100 or 1,000 followers to go Live, but you can request an exception by contacting TikTok.
  • If you don't meet the requirements, send a request to enable Live by going to Settings and privacy, then Report a problem.
  • To go Live, tap the + on your homepage. Enter your Live details, then tap Go LIVE.
