This is how to get a Master Ball in Ruby. This also applies to Sapphire and Emerald.

Steps

  1. 1
    Go to Lilycove City.
  2. 2
You must have been to Mt. Pyre to see the Blue Orb taken and witnessed the submarine being stolen from Slateport to do this.

  3. 3
Go to the Team Aqua Hideout in the north-east of Lilycove (you will need to use Surf) and keep heading north.
  4. 4
Enter through the door and you will see two white circles. These are teleporters.
  5. 5
Take the one on the left.
  6. 6
As you are taken to the next screen, you will see a teleporter to the south. Walk to it and take it.
  7. 7
Now take the teleporters to the left, left and left again.
  8. 8
When you reach the final row of teleporters, take the one farthest to the left.
  9. 9
You should reach a room with four item balls. The two on the right are Electrodes, be careful.
  10. 10
Pick up the Nugget and then you will be able to reach the Master Ball!

  • Question
Where to find Rayquaza in Pokemon Ruby?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Rayquaza is located at the top of Sky Pillar. You'll have to go through a few puzzles. Once cleared, go to the middle of the rock circle and you will see Rayquaza lying down. Save before attempting to capture Rayquaza; also make sure you have plenty of Pokéballs as it will be level 70. Be careful as Rayquaza knows the move Fly -- it could fly up at any time.
  • Question
What can I use if I can't get the master ball to catch the legendary Pokemon?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Use the timer ball to catch Groudon (in ruby), Kyogre (in sapphire) or Rayquaza (in every game). Or, you could use a net ball to catch Kyogre.
