Are you organizing your underwear drawer? Folding your underwear keeps it looking fresh and ready to wear. Underwear might seem unwieldy but there's a way to fold it into small rectangles for easy stacking. Whether you're folding panties, briefs, boxers or thongs, it's worth the extra effort.
Steps
Folding Panties
-
1Lay the panties face-up. Place them on a flat work surface, like a countertop or the bed. Position the panties so that the waistband is pointing away from you. Smooth out any wrinkles with your hands.
-
2Fold the panties in thirds. Fold the left side toward the center, then fold the right side over the left. The folds are similar to those you'd use to fold a business letter into thirds. Smooth out the wrinkles.Advertisement
-
3Fold the crotch up to the waistband. The bottom edge of the crotch and the top of the waistband should be aligned. Smooth out the wrinkles.
-
4Flip the panties so the waistband is showing. The panties are now folded and ready to stack in your underwear drawer.[1]
Folding Thongs
-
1Lay the thong face-up. Place it on a flat work surface, such your bed or the counter in your laundry room. Straighten it out and position it so that the waistband is pointing away from you.
-
2Cross the sides of the waistband to the center. Bring the left side of the waistband to the center of the thong, then cross the right side of the waistband over it. The waistband will be folded into thirds.
-
3Fold the crotch up to the waistband. The bottom edge of the crotch and the top of the waistband should now be aligned.
-
4Flip the thong so the waistband is showing. The thong is now folded and ready to stack. Try storing your thongs stacked upright (crotch-side down) in a narrow box or drawer organizer to keep them neat.[2]

-
1Lay the briefs face-up. Place them on a flat work surface, like a countertop or the bed. Position the briefs so that the waistband is pointing away from you. Smooth out any wrinkles with your hands.
-

-
