There are two benefits to cooking meat in Minecraft instead of eating it raw. The first one is that you won't get food poisoning, a status effect that will hurt your health and hunger bars, which is quite contrary to what you want. The second is that you gain more hunger bars after eating cooked meat rather than raw meat. Don't be stingy with your coal (or any other fuel) and start cooking the meat!
Steps
-
1Obtain some meat from an animal (pig, sheep, chicken, or cow).
-
2Make a pickaxe and mine some cobblestone. Harvest some wood and craft a crafting table.Advertisement
-
3Tap on the crafting table. Use the cobblestone to make a furnace.
-
4Use your pickaxe to mine some coal or make some charcoal out of wood.
-
5Put the coal and the meat (pork, chicken, or beef) in the furnace. Wait until the arrow on the side of the screen is full. That means the meat is cooked.
-
6Put the cooked meat in your inventory.
