How to Disable Amazon Currency Converter

When you're shopping from a country that's different from your method of payment or shipping address, you'll be able to use the Amazon Currency Converter. Steps

Go to https://www.amazon.com/ and sign in (if you're not already). You can use any web browser to disable the Amazon Currency Converter.

Hover your cursor over Hello and click Account. This will not work if you're adding items from the United States region if you have a payment method in USD, so you'll need to use a site/change the region of Amazon to what's local around you (click the flag icon next to your account name).

Click Amazon currency converter. You'll see this under the header, "Ordering and shipment preferences."
- If your shipping address is in the US and you're using the UK version of the site, you'll have the "Amazon Currency Converter" option. If you're located in the same region as the Amazon website you're using, you won't see that option available.

Click Turn Off Amazon Currency Converter. The next page will show you a confirmation that the setting has been disabled.
