Bumble is a free app for dating and meeting new friends. You look through a series of profiles; if you are interested in that person, swipe right. If you are not interested, swipe left. Pretty simple right? The best part about this app is that it’s made for the girls! If the girl does not say anything to the person of interest, the match will be lost forever. For same sex relationships or people looking for friends, either person can message the other first, but a 24-hour rule applies. Forever is a long time so Bumble has allowed each person to extend the conversations for 24 hours every day. Setting up an account is easy through Facebook.

Warnings

  • Everyone signing up must have the updated version of Facebook to set up an account with Bumble.

  • Signing up for extras will let people see who has already liked the individual, re-matching with expired matches, and adding 24 hours to existing matches. This does cost money, though.

  • If you choose "Don't Allow" for notifications, this could result in a missed connection.
