3As the palm-frocked island of Ambergris Caye is always crowded by tourists, book your rooms in advance in any resort or hotel. Contact some good travel agency to help you choose the best deals.
-
4Ask the staff of the hotel or resort you would be staying in to arrange for speedboats to take you to the Blue Hole early in the morning.
-
5As this is not an easy place to reach, also ask for an expert guide to help you see the place without any sort of accidents.
-
6Eat light food before diving and wear comfortable clothes.
-
7While at Blue Hole, you can try out adventure activities such as scuba diving, cruising, fishing or swimming.
-
8You can bring your own diving equipment or rent the equipment from the guide shops. It is easier to rent the equipment than to carry it.
-
9Whatever you do don't stress yourself. Take long walks along the beach and as the locals can understand English, you would not face any problems in interacting with them.
-
10If you have time to spend, you can even take a river cruise to the Mayan ruins at Lamanai, do some tubing in underground caves or explore the eco-resorts of the jungle areas near the Guatemalan border.
