This will tell you how to acquire the Pokémon Pichu in the GBA game Pokémon Ruby. Note: this will also work for Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red and Leaf Green.
Steps
-
1Start by catching a Pikachu in the Safari Zone near Lilycove City. If it is male, you'll need a Ditto, which you can acquire via trade. If it is female, you can breed it with Pokémon of the same egg group such as Sandshrew, Skitty and Slakoth. (There are plenty more.)
-
2For breeding, put two Pokémon of opposite genders in the Day Care. (eg. female Pikachu and male Slakoth.) Soon the man outside will give you an egg: the egg of your Pichu!Advertisement
-
3Egg hatching takes time: keep the egg in your party for long enough and it will hatch. (eggs hatch on no. of steps.) When it hatches, it will say "What? The egg is hatching!......PICHU came out of the egg!"
