Chances are, she's viewing the time you spend with your family with a scarcity mindset—in other words, she feels like your family is taking away from your limited time together. Instead, encourage her to view the situation with an abundance mindset by saying "You know what? We can find a way to make this work for everybody. Let's work together and figure out a solution."
