How to Buy Ammunition in GTA for PC

Grand Theft Auto is currently, by far, the most popular video game in the street crime genre. That said, guns are a must in GTA, and you cannot use guns without ammo. Buying ammunition in Grand Theft Auto is a simple task, as long as you have the money to afford it. Ammunition is obtained through the in game store AMMU-NATION, which uses in-game currency.

Launch Grand Theft Auto V. Launch GTA from the Start menu or double-click its shortcut icon on the desktop if it’s there.

Start the game. Once you have launched the game it will take you to the menu screen. Select either “Start game” or “Load game” to continue. When you have successfully launched the game, you will see your avatar standing in the virtual world ready to play.

Find AMMU-NATION in the map. Press the ESC key and enter the map menu by pressing enter. When in the map, look for the nearest AMMU-NATION, the gun icon on the map.

Create a waypoint to AMMU-NATION. Do this by right-clicking on the icon, and a pink line should appear showing you your route. Close the map by pressing ESC, you will be returned to the virtual world.
- The route to AMMU-NATION should now be highlighted on your GPS by a pink line (the GPS is located on the bottom left corner of the screen).

Travel to AMMU-NATION. You can get to Ammu-Nation either by driving or walking. Follow the GPS marker to get to the store..

Talk to the sales clerk. Upon arriving at the store, enter by walking through the front door and continue heading towards the man behind the counter. Talk to the man by pressing the E button. A purchase menu will open.

Select ammo. When the menu has opened, hover over the gun you want to buy the ammunition for and left press ENTER. This will open a menu containing ammo and accessories you can purchase for the gun. Ammo will be the first option, and it is highlighted.

Buy ammo. Press ENTER to buy a magazine for your gun. Depending on the type of gun, pressing ENTER buys a fixed number of rounds each time, e.g., 60 rounds for most rifles.
- Once you have finished purchasing your ammo, simply press ESC and walk out of the store to return to the game world.

- Exit the map by pressing ESC, and your GPS should be updated now on the bottom left of the screen.

Travel to AMMU-NATION. Follow the GPS marker by walking or driving to the store.

Buy ammo. Once you arrive at the store, you can enter by simply walking through the front door. As you walk around the room, you will notice various guns located around the room. When you have found the gun you want ammo for, walk up to it and a small black box should appear in the left-hand corner with prices.
- To buy the ammo, simply press ENTER. Depending on the type of gun, pressing ENTER buys a fixed number of rounds each time, e.g., 60 rounds for most rifles.
- You can walk away at any time when you have finished your purchase.
