You're walking home after a long day of diamond mining, and boom! A Creeper suddenly appears out of nowhere and blows you up. Or a Spider jumps on top of you from the top of your house, attacking you, and you can't get it off. This happens a lot. This article should help you to kill mobs better.

Spiders

1Spiders can climb objects and jump at you.

2Turn the volume pretty high, but not too loud. You will be able to hear the monster that is outside. If you hear the spider sound, get a weapon, and locate it.

3If you hear the spider on top of your house, sprint far from the door, shoot it with an arrow to agro it, then fight with the bow, or your sword.

Skeletons

1If there are more then one skeletons shooting at you, fall back, or try to make them shoot each other.

2Use a bow, as they will use a bow.

3Charge a bow fully, and peek out of cover just a little bit to shoot, as skeletons have good accuracy. Please also don't be near any TNT, as arrows will activate it when hit.

4If you only have a sword, get to cover quickly, and carefully get closer to the skeleton.

Ghasts

1When a ghast shoots a fireball hit it with something. The bomb will be deflected back, and kill a ghast instantly if it hits.

2Move around a lot, to dodge fireballs.

3The fireballs deal damage in a 3x3 square.

4Charge a bow fully, to ensure accuracy and power. Two hits from a fully charged bow will kill a ghast, also.

Endermen

1Do not try to attack Endermen early in the game.

2If you see one, look down and walk away/into your house until it despawns or goes away. You could also wear a pumpkin if you don't mind impaired vision.

3If one agros on you, jump into the nearest body of water and either wait till it goes away, or take a chance on it against your sword.

Ender Dragon

1Destroy all of the end crystals on top on the towers. These heal the dragon.

2When it comes down and lands on the bedrock portal in the center of the end, get out a sword. Hit as many times as possible before it flies away again.

3Bows don't work in the second stage of the fight, but bring snowballs which deal plenty of damage.

4If your skilled, you can even kill the dragon with beds, as they explode in the End.

5Tip! Capture some of the Ender Dragon's breath in a glass bottle to get some Dragon's Breath. This is essential to making lingering potions, and potion tipped arrows, both very useful!.
