A Nerf war is a struggle that can seem never ending at some points. Sometimes, the only way to win is by launching an invasion into enemy territory. This article will go over the whole process, to help your team win the war. Always make sure that invading an enemy base in a Nerf war is not considered as cheating.

Part 1
Part 1 of 3:

Preparing

  1. 1
Consider your supplies. Before starting the invasion, look at your supplies. Is there enough food and water? For that matter, is there enough ammo? These are critical components. If you have the resources to launch the invasion, you are good.
  2. 2
Plan your Nerf arsenal. Note, you don't have to use Nerf branded blasters, since Dart Zone and X-Shot. You need some basic weaponry to invade an enemy base like: a primary weapon, secondary weapon, a backup weapon and a melee weapon. Down below is of a basic Nerf arsenal:
    • Primary: Retaliator.
    • Secondary: Strongarm.
    • Backup: Triad
    • Melee: Strikeblade

  3. 3
Know whether or not you are able to invade the enemy base on your own. If you think that you can invade the enemy base on your own then, do it , but if you think you can't then, skip to the next step.
  4. 4
Look at the abilities of the whole team. Do you have the people to do it? From there, do you have a force good enough to take the territory? Make sure to divide the team in parts. Send one on the east, one on the west, one on the north and one on the south side. Also, communicate with each other using mobile phones or Walkie-Talkies so you will have backup encase of any emergency.
  5. 5
Plan your tactics. This is the most important part. If you have a Nerf spy, send them in to look at the base and tell you that where are the main soldiers of the team so you can ask a sniper to shoot at them. If they can get the plans, even better. Plan your strategy around those plans. If there are no plans, send someone in to get a look at the general layout.

Part 2 of 3:

Invading

  1. 1
Gather the squad going in to the territory. From there, leave a few defenders behind.
  2. 2
Have a few people cause a diversion further down the border. Have them attract the defenders. Try to get the other side to radio in for help. Once there is a good fight going in down the border, get into the territory and head for the base. If you think your teammates cannot fight them, take a mobile recorder, record your own voice in it and play it. This will cause some diversion towards the border.
  3. 3
Dodge all defenders in the territory. Do not try to shoot them until you're in your blasters range.
  4. 4
Once within the range of the base, try to take out the main defense points. From there, take no prisoners. Shoot anyone trying to defend the base.
  5. 5
Get in and storm the base. Blast anyone trying to get in your way. Only take a hostage if they are high ranking (make sure that they're OK with this).
  6. 6
Get to the leader's area, and if they are still there, take them hostage and report back to your base (make sure that they're OK with this). Do not shoot the leader. The leader is the most important asset of the other team. Use the leader of the other team to ensure defense. You can ask him/her to tell you about his/her base.
  7. 7
If the leader is not still there, send out a squad to find them. Again, do not shoot the leader; take them hostage (make sure that they're OK with this). Bring them back to the rest of the squad.

How To React During Surprise Attacks

  1. 1
Get cover. If you are surprised attacked, then, get cover. You should listen for when they prime the spring or rev up the flywheels. It's pretty easy to tell what type of magazine they have in their blaster too. When you think that he/she is out of ammo, attack him/her.
  2. 2
Ask for backup. Using your mobile phone or Walkie-Talkie, ask your teammates for backup.
  3. 3
Try to run away. At the moments of surprise attacks, running away is the best solution so, run as fast as you can. Make sure that they are out of range. If they have a Nexus Pro, Max Stryker, Caliburn, or Lynx, you probably shouldn't run, since they're snipers.
  4. 4
Be ready to get shot. In cases when you are surprise attacked, especially when you're inside the enemy base, there is a good chance of you getting tagged but if you have enough speed to run away, good backup and a hiding place, you can get away safely.

Community Q&A

  • Question
What should we do if we capture the leader?
    Cade Albert

    Community Answer
It's up to you and the rules you've set. You could ask them questions, and threaten to shoot them if they don't answer, for example.
  • Question
Should I lead the squad when finding the leader if they leave the base before we can get there?
    Mohsin Abbas TV
    Community Answer
It depends on your location. If you are very close to the opponent's base, don't find the leader, take all the resources you can from there instead. If you're not too close to the opponent's base, go and find the leader, he must not be very far away.
  • Question
Can I carry an Accustrike Alphahawk?

    Community Answer
You could, but it would be far more effective to carry an Alpha Trooper or a Retaliator.

Warnings

  • Don't make footsteps on the opponent's base or your enemy can track your location. Before the invasion, try to practice walking quietly.
    ⧼thumbs_response⧽
  • Don't throw your jammed blasters on the opponent's base because if your enemy knows that how to fix a jammed blaster then, your blaster can be used against your own self.
    ⧼thumbs_response⧽
  • Don't use blasters that jam frequently when invading an enemy base. For example, I used Little Valentine darts in a Nerf Tri-Strike and it jammed every first dart.

  • ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION
    ⧼thumbs_response⧽
  • Don't forcibly take someone hostage. It's just a game.
