Have some tarnished metal that needs to be cleaned and polished? Nevr-Dull by Eagle One is fairly inexpensive and cleans and polishes many metals including aluminium, copper, pewter, silver, chromium, nickel, zinc, brass, and gold. Continue reading to learn the techniques behind getting the most out from your Nevr-Dull!

Steps

  1. 1
Gather your materials (see Thing's You'll Need below). Nevr-Dull is a little oily; it's best to gather what you need (and change into work clothes) before starting.
  2. 2
Tear a piece of wadding from the container. It doesn't need to be large, each piece holds more oil than you might think.

  3. 3
Rub the wadding over the metal! Depending on the metal's tarnishing you might need to apply a fair amount of pressure to squeeze out more of the oil. Go over each area a few times, rubbing back and forth in small circles or following the metal's grain.
  4. 4
Clean up unwanted oil on non-metal areas by quickly wiping it off with the paper towel.
  5. 5
Let the oil dry onto the metal. This should be pretty quick, it should take less than 5 minutes.
    • While you're waiting, go ahead and return the wadding to the container. It can be reused later.
  6. 6
Polish the metal to a lustre using the soft rag. Go over each area until the metal doesn't feel oily.
  7. 7
    Finished!
