The Boundless-Valore Merger

In 2015, Boundless merged with Valore, a Boston-based e-commerce company, in order to further pursue our shared goal of modernizing the textbook industry.

Both companies believe that the current system of higher education is outdated and expensive and have taken different but complementary approaches to relieving the pressures of high cost and restricted access. Boundless and Valore now work in tandem to serve the entire education ecosystem, from schools and bookstores to educators and, of course, students.

What Valore Does

Valore works to distribute educational content more widely and at lower prices. Valore's online marketplace enables online retailers, college bookstores, wholesalers, and students to buy and sell course materials directly to each other at the prices they actually want.

Valore's success in changing textbook distribution models combined with Boundless's digital products and content ensure that together we will continue to improve access to quality educational materials and learning opportunities.
