I've been a programmer for long enough to remember the days when knowledge was only gained from foot-thick technical manuals badly translated from Esperanto or by grovelling at the feet of the senior tech who might deign to share some of his precious knowledge in return for favours or by tearing your hair out in frustration for six or eight weeks. In short, I remember the days before stackoverflow. They were NOT the good old days and I ain't going back, not even if you pay me.
