I learned how to program by answering questions on Stack Overflow, and hope to someday be a moderator. Stack Overflow is what I do to relax in the evenings (I do not use any social networks). I believe that Stack Overflow can be simultaneously strictly moderated and inviting to new-comers, through a combination of polite commenting, patience, strategic voting, and suggested edits.

I try to do my best to make Stack Overflow as welcoming as possible to as many people as possible without sacrificing the core competencies of Stack Overflow, which in my opinion flow directly from its strictly enforced and rigorously discussed/debated guidelines and the Meta community in general.
